Tatarstan farmers started forage preservation

Farmers in Zainsk, Nurlat and Chistopol municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan have started forage preservation.

In Nurlat municipal district mechanizers of OOO “AF “Yuzhnaya” and peasant farm enterprise “Suleimanov A.I.” were the first to start working. “In the district the total area of lands with perennial grasses is 10,500 ha. As of today, the grasses have been cut out from 200 ha of fields, - said Chief at the Production and Marketing Department of the local agricultural directorate Fail Ivandeev. – In the nearest future farmers from other enterprises are also going to start forage preservation”.

In Zainsk municipal district farmers of OOO Agro-firm “Zai”, OOO “Agro-firm “Zainskiy sakhar”, OOO “Agro-firm “Vostok” and OOO “Niva” have started forage preservation. In Chistopol municipal district farmers of OOO “Dzhuketau” have started working.
