Tatarstan animal breeders receive over 16 kg of milk per cow a day

Yesterday, on June 4, Tatarstan animal breeders were past the milk yield of 16 kg per cow a day. “We have reached such a figure in the republic for the first time, - said the chief at the department of development of animal breeding branches in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Siren Nigmatzyanov. – It became possible owing to daily hard work of branch specialists and modernization of technologies of animal keeping and feeding”.

The gross milk yield for the previous day in the republic was 3,741 tons (104%). There is an increase in gross milk yield compared with the previous year level in the following municipal districts: Atnya (+25 tons), Kukmor (+22.2 tons), Zainsk (+16.7 tons), Mamadysh (+11.5 tons) and Baltasi (+11.4 tons). High milk productivity was shown in Saby (21.3 kg), Aktanysh (18.2 kg), Kaibitsy (17.4 kg), Apastovo (17.2 kg), Buinsk (17.1 kg), Vysokaya Gora (17 kg), Drozhzhanoe (16.8 kg) and Tyulyachi (16.4 kg) municipal districts.
