Introduction of IT into animal breeding was discussed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

The issues of introduction of IT into the sphere of animal breeding was discussed in the Ministry of Food and Agriculture of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The following officials took part in the discussion: deputy ministers of agriculture and food of the republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov and Nazip Khazipov, Head of the Chief Directorate for Veterinary of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan Almaz Khisamutdinov, Head of the Chief State Agricultural Directorate for Pedigree Cattle Breeding of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Rishat Zaripov, Director at OOO “Agro Innovations” Marat Dusaev, etc.

Director at OOO “Agro Innovations” Marat Dusaev presented a project of the system of herd management automation. The software enables to control the process of milk production, herd reproduction and selective-brood work. Each animal has its own identity card in the system which contains all necessary information about its health, feeding, milking and the quality of milk received. According to the words of Marat Dusaev, the system enables to decrease expenses on animal keeping and to increase the production efficiency of cattle goods.

Deputy Minister Nazip Khazipov says that currently such kind of a system is used in OOO “SBU “Shytsu” in Saby municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the words of its specialists, the system gives beneficial results.

The meeting ended with discussion and sharing of opinions concerning advantages and disadvantages of usage of the herd management system.
