Rustam Minnikhanov visited “RUSSIA HALAL EXPO” exhibition

Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited “RUSSIA HALAL EXPO” exhibition. He was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, Assistant to President of the Republic of Tatarstan Radik Gimatdinov and some other officials. The exhibition is held within the framework of the IXth International Economic Summit “Russia – Islamic World: KazanSummit 2017” and takes place in the hotel, retail and entertainment complex – “Korston”.

Before the President of the Republic of Tatarstan started examination of the display, Chairman at the Spiritual Body of the Muslims of the Republic of Tatarstan Kamil Samigullin informed him about development of the halal market in the republic, as well as about activities of enterprises on halal production and further plans on product and service diversification.

About 50 producers from Tatarstan, Udmurtia, Moscow, Chelyabinsk and other Russian regions participate in the exhibition. Beside this, some foreign companies, including Turkish ones, also take part in it.

Beside food products one will be able to see clothes, jewelry, halal cosmetics and toys at the exhibition. Several stands are devoted to tourism and medicine.
