Sowing of grains and pulses keeps going on in Tatarstan. Namely, in Tukaevo municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan 48% of fields have been sown already (21,900 ha).

“Due to the weather conditions we started field work later, but have almost gained the pace of the previous year. Agrarians try to work every day with favourable weather”, - stated Chief at the local Directorate for Agriculture and Food Khaidar Sabitov.

The sowing campaign is also going on in “ХПК-1” department of OOO “Kama” Agro-firm. “1,500 ha are sown with barley and sugar beetroot, 545 ha are sown with lupine, - said the head of the department, Ravil Ildarkhanov. – 17 units of machinery are being exploited on the fields. We are going to sow also wheat, corn and rape”.

Experienced mechanizers Yuriy Surov, Fanis Kharisov, Alexander Surov, Sergy Novikov, Ilya Salikhov, Rafit Gabdrakhmanov and Samat Khamidullin are engaged in spring sowing. “They are highly skilled and they love their work. Inspite of their ag, they are very enthusiastic”, - noted Ravil Ildarkhanov.
