“Agrosila” holding company records

“Agrosila” holding company has made records for 2016. Within the framework of the harvesting campaign, 404,000 tons of pulses, 22,000 tons of oil crops and 26,600 tons of corn have been harvested by agro-firms of the holding. Beside this, the record yield of sugar beetroot of 964,000 tons has been received. Over 15,000 tons of hay, 185,000 tons of haylage and 138,000 tons of silage have been preserved with the aim to provide cattle with top quality fodder. The total yield of fodder is over 338,000 tons.

According to the words of Director General at “Agrosila” holding company Svetlana Barsukova, season 2016 became one of the most successful for the crop husbandry activities of the holding during the last few years. “We are exerting best efforts to stabilize and increase the yield of agricultural crops which are cultivated by agro-firms of “Agrosila” holding company. The total expenditures for the sowing campaign this year are about 1.5 billion rubles. Beside this, over 1.3 billion rubles have been invested into machinery fleet development”, - said Svetlana Barsukova.

61,000 ha of fields have been sowed with winter crops in agro-firms of the holding company, namely with winter wheat, winter rye and winter camelia.
