Over 2 million tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested in Tatarstan

Harvesting of technical crops keeps going on in the republic. As of October 19 2016, 2,008,900 tons of sugar beetroot have been harvested from 56,800 ha (90% of the plan). The average crop yield is 354 dt/ha.

1,900 ha of fields with vegetables have been cleared (94%). The gross yield of vegetables is 57,900 tons.

248,000 tons of maize have been milled from 80,200 ha (83%), the average crop yield is 30,900 dt/ha.

Sunflower has been thrashed on 91,400 ha (83%). 122,600 tons of oil seeds have been milled at the average crop yield of 13.4 dt/ha.
