Planting of black current in “Yagodnaya dolina” ltd.

Planting of early, intermediate and late black current is being carried out on 66 ha of fields in “Yagodnaya dolina” ltd. in Almetyevsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Plantings are brought from Belorussia and grown in the Village of Bolshie Yaki in Zelenodolsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the words of farmers, “Black purl”, “In the honour of Vavilov” and “Blueberrish” varieties have a high crop yield (6-7 tons per ha without watering, it doubles with watering). It is planned to receive the first yield in 2018.

A drop watering system has already been installed here, there are 20 km of pipes at a depth of 1.5m.

People from Almetyevsk, the villages of Yamash, Russkiy Aktash, Novonikolsk and Zai-Chishma of Almetyevsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan participate in the implementation of the project. Over 40 workplaces have been created.

In 2017 it is planned to increase the area of the current garden up to 95 ha owing to production of plantings.
