“Agrosila” holding company is going to harvest over 10,000 tons of sunflower seeds this year

In 2016 “Agrosila” holding company is going to harvest over 10,000 tons of sunflower seeds. The total harvesting area exceeds 5,000 ha.

“We are going to finish harvesting within a month. Shortly before the harvesting campaign we had purchased modern agricultural machinery and equipment, which will enable to harvest quickly. Simultaneously with harvesting farmers are preparing fields for sowing of winter crops”, - said Director General at “Agrosila” holding company Svetlana Barsukova.

In 2017 it is planned to construct an oil factory, which will be included into the structure of “Zaman” technopolis, with the aim to process oil crops. A presscake and oil production line for sunflower, rape and soya will be installed in the factory. As of today, the production capacity of “Agrosila” holding factory is 165,000 tons of oil seeds per day. After the new factory has started working, the production capacity will become 165,000 tons per day. A new grain elevator will be also constructed on the territory of the technopolis. It will receive, store, clean and dry 150,000 tons of different agricultural crops. After the enterprise has reached the project capacity, the elevator will be able to receive over 4,000 tons of grain every day.
