Potato harvesting is going on in the peasant farm enterprise “Minekhanov” in Tukaevo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan

Farmers from the peasant farm enterprise “Minekhanov” in Tukaevo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan are harvesting potato. On the field near the village of Starye Erykly a Holland potato harvester is working. It is operated by Farkhat Khasanov and Dinar Sadykov.

“We are operation a harvester which can do everything – harvest potato, clean it, load it to a truck”, - said Farkhat Khasanov.

“The average crop yield is 300 dt/ha. Under favourable weather conditions we are going to harvest potato within 7 days”, - said the head of the peasant farm enterprise Mintalip Minekhanov.

Potato is going to be distributed to Naberezhnye Chelny kindergartens and schools, and to be sold at agricultural fairs.
