Turkmenistan delegation is on an official visit in Tatarstan

Turkmenistan delegation headed by Minister of Economy and Development Batyr Bazarov is on an official visit in Tatarstan.

On arrival to Kazan Batyr Bazarov participated in the opening ceremony of Tatarstan petrochemical forum. He greeted forum participants after the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

After that Turkmenistan delegation went to “Agro-Industrial Park “Kazan” where they examined the range of agricultural products. The delegation was accompanied by Evgeniy Restchikov, the head of the foodstuff market development department in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The guests from Turkmenistan also visited “Greenhouse complex “Maiskiy” and “Agro-firm “Zalesnyi” in Zalenodolsk municipal district.

As reference. The total area of winter greenhouses in “Greenhouse complex “Maiskiy” is 42 ha, including 30 ha with modern ones with photoculture. The complex takes the 1st place in Russia in production of greenhouse vegetables with the yearly production of over 33,000 tons. The complex invests into modernization of production every year. Products are distributed to the Republic of Tatarstan, to Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Surgut, Ekaterinburg, Izhevsk, Kirov, Perm, etc.

“Agro-firm ‘Zalesnyi” has the following production cycle: import of eggs – incubation – turkey operation – slaughter – processing – distribution. The average chicken population in 2015 was 50,000, in 2016 – 90,000. Meat production is 2,500 tons a year, in the future – up to 4,300 tons.
