Harvesting and winter sowing keep going on in the republic

As of September 5 2016, 268,100 tons of sugar beetroot have been received from 8,900 ha (14%), the average crop yield is 300 dt/ha.

Sugar beetroot has been harvested from 2,800 ha in Sarmanovo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan and from 2,500 ha in Zainsk municipal district. The biggest crop yield is in Tukaevo municipal district – 330 dt/ha. In Tetyushi municipal district the figure is 326 dt/ha, in Leninogorsk municipal district – 320 dt/ha.

15,400 tons of potato have been harvested from 900 ha (11%), the average crop yield is 179 dt/ha.

Rape has been harvested from 93,500 ha (84%). 59,100 tons of rape have been milled at the average crop yield of 6.3 dt/ha.

20,900 tons of maize have been milled from 6,200 ha (6%), the average crop yield is 33.7 dt/ha.

Winter crops have been sowed on 505,000 ha (85%).
