Harvesting of grains and pulses is coming to an end in the Republic of Tatarstan

Three more districts have finished harvesting of grains and pulses in the republic of Tatarstan – Vysokaya Gora, Zainsk and Saby municipal districts. Thus, in Zainsk municipal district 135,400 tons og grain have been milled at the average crop yield of 37 dt/ha, in Vysokaya Gora municipal district – 83,400 tons (27.2 dt/ha), in Saby municipal district – 71,200 tons (30.1 dt/ha). It is worth mentioning that the first to finish harvesting of these crops in the republic were farmers from Atnya municipal district (threshing yield was 56,200 tons), where the average crop yield was 30.8 dt/ha. Harvesting of grains is expected to be finished in Alekseevskoe, Nizhniy Kamsk and Chistopol municipal districts soon.

As of August 18 2016, over 3.7 million tons of grain have been milled from 1,368,300 ha of fields (92%) in Tatarstan. The average crop yield is 27.6 dt/ha.

In Baltasi municipal district the average spring wheat yield is 37.9 dt/ha, in Aktanysh – 32.4 dt/ha, Tukaevo – 31.1 dt/ha, Aznakaevo and Kukmor – 30 dt/ha in each.

In Zainsk, Sarmanovo and Tukaevo municipal districts harvesting of sugar beetroot keeps going on. As of today, 1,498 ha with sugar beetroot have been cleared at the average crop yield of 297.3 dt/ha.
