Harvesting campaign 2016: gross grain yield exceeds 3.5 million tons in Tatarstan

As of August 16, 2016, over 3.5 million tons of grain have been milled in the republic at the average crop yield of 27.8 dt/ha. 1,289,900 ha with grains and pulses have been thrashed (86% of the plan).

The biggest threshing yield is in Buinsk municipal district (152,300 tons), the average crop yield is 34.3 dt/ha. In Aznakaevo municipal district 144,100 tons of grain have been milled (the average crop yield is 30.1 dt/ha), in Sarmanovo – 135,100 tons (31.9 dt/ha), Aktanysh – 129,500 tons (33 dt/ha), Zainsk – 127,500 tons (37.5 dt/ha).

Harvesting of grains and pulses has been finished in Atnya municipal district, the threshing yield is 56,200 tons of grain at the average crop yield of 30.8 dt/ha. 92% of fields have been cleared in Saby (97%), Vysokaya Gora (94%), Zainsk (93%), Aznakaevo (92%0, Alekseevskoe (92%) and Chistopol (92%) municipal districts.

Tatarstan farmers started harvesting of ripe. As of today, 2,300 tons of ripe have been milled from 3,300 ha of fields. The average crop yield is 6.9 dt/ha.

In Menzelinsk municipal district 15 ha of fields with potato have been cleared, the average crop yield is 250 dt/ha.

Sowing of winter crops keeps going on in different districts of the republic. 61,700 ha of fields have been sowed with winter crops, where 51,800 ha have been sowed with winter rye and 8,600 ha – with winter wheat.
