Tatarstan farmers introduce innovative technologies in agriculture

On July 20, 2016, “AGROSILA” holding company presented the Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov its experience to introduce modern innovative technologies of agriculture in Zainsk municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Participants of the event visited fields of sugar beetroot, winter wheat, corn, as well as unique crop testing fields of the holding company with winter and spring wheat, forage barley, pea, rape, hybrids of sugar beetroot and corn, where microelements are tested as well as seed dressers of different producers.

It is worth reminding that as of today, one of the main activity areas of “AGROSILA” holding company is introducing progressive technologies into production.

To make records in yield of grain, oil and other kinds of crops, a strict system of organization of the sowing campaign and technologies of “Agro” production system, which were developed specially for holding enterprises, are widely used.

One of the most important factors to increase yield production and fertility of soil is usage of organic and mineral fertilizers and timely usage of means to protect plants. Also modern resource-saving technologies re actively being introduced in enterprises.

Holding agrofirms are main suppliers of raw materials for the plant named “Zainsk sugar”, which is included into the holding structure. “Zainsk sugar factory” is one of Russian plants with the highest production capacity: 8,000 tons of sugar beetroot are processed a day, production is over 1,200 tons per day. In 2015 the factory accepted 1 million tons of sugar beetroot for processing, this year it will accept up to 1.2 million tons of sugar beetroot. In 2016 it is planned to exceed sugar production of 150,000 tons.
