For the 1st two weeks of the new season Russia increased export of grain by 34%

In the new agricultural year, that started on July 1, Russia has exported 583,800 tons of grain, which is by 34.5% more in comparison with the figure of 2015. It was reported on the web site of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

From July 1 through July 13, Russian exported 383,500 tons of wheat, 182,200 tons of barley, 10,900 tons of corn and 7,200 tons of other crops. As of July 14, the average export price for wheat in the USA was 170 USD per ton.

The Ministry of the Agriculture of the Russian Federation also reports on the increase of meet and poultry production by 6.2% from January until May of the current year.
