1000 ducklings are bred in the peasant farm enterprise of Azat Shakhmin from Agryz municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan

In the peasant farm enterprise of Azat Shakhmin from Agryz municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan 1000 ducklings are kept. Kazaners Rushan Imamutdinov and Ildar Zaripov are looking after the birds.

The poultry house is rented from “Navruz” company in the village of Izh-Baiki. The overhaul was carried out there, new windows and doors were installed, the house was wired for electricity.

The breed of the ducklings is called “Cherry Welly”. According to the words of Ildar Zaripov, these ducks grow very fast. “We feed ducks every 5 hours, even at night. We spend in average 60 kg of fodder a day”, he said.

“Few people in the district dreed poultry, that is why we approve and support this initiative”, - said Dilyus Gataullin, the head of the local directorate for agriculture and food.

The poultry breeders are planning to sell some ducklings and bring new ones, and to breed the rest of the ducklings for meat. The farm is going to be snugged for winter, because poultry will be kept here all year round.
