“In the next 12 months it is necessary to carry out a number of technological operations, fast and everywhere. These are anti-pest and anti-blast dressing, as well as obligatory foliar dressing. It is also necessary to continue protection of spring crops as well”, - he said.

Marat Akhmetov spoke in detail about fodder procurement. The 1st mowing keeps going on. As of today, 280,000 tons of fodder have been made (which is by 20% more than it was in 2015). The leading districts in cutting are Zainsk, Sarmanovo, Nurlat, Aktanysh and Aznakaevo municipal districts. Mara Akhmetov asked the heads of the following districts to gain the pace of fodder crops harvesting: Agryz, Kamskoe Ustye, Nizhniy Kamsk, Chistopol, Apastovo and Pestretsy municipal districts.

Marat Akhemov emphasized that in a month harvesting would start. It will be carried out on the territory of 1.9 billion ha. However, as the minister noted, the number of harvester-threshers is declining year after year. This year 3,400 combine harvesters will work on fields (10 years ago there were 6,000 combine harvesters). The average work capacity per combine harvester is increasing in the republic and now it is 540 ha. In a number of enterprises the figure is up to 1,000 ha. Harvesting will take at least 2 months in the districts with great work load even under perfect weather conditions and high productiveness, noted Marat Akhmetov.

“It is expected that during harvesting we will need spare parts and maintenance materials worth about 1.2 billion roubles. Necessary production in the amount of 820 million roubles have been brought to the store houses of dealers and suppliers, but as of today agricultural producers have purchased only a quarter of it. Enterprise which have not applied for purchasing of spare part timely could have delays concerning the time of delivery”, warned the minister.

He reminded that for those willing to purchase new combine harvesters there is the program called “1432” which enabled to buy domestic machinery and equipment at 25% discount. One can also use the scheme of Rossagroleading, the program “RVP” (Reequipment of vehicle park”) and the republican program “40/60”.
