“Skorlupino” Egg festival takes place in Pestretsy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan on June 25, 2016

“Skorlupino” egg festival takes place in Pestretsy village, Pestretsy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. Its mascot is the little Sko.

Within the framework of the festival there is going to be a varied program, which will include: a hen and eggs life size puppet parade, “Egg exhibition” site, where modern art works, crafts from feathers, egg shell, fabric and ceramics will be presented. There will be an ”Egg tree” – there guests will be able to hang an egg and make a wish. There also will be workshops on cooking and serving of egg dishes, an entertaining program with the participation of Tatar show business stars.

Young specialists from poultry farms will compete to win the title of the best poultry breeding enterprise of the Republic of Tatarstan.

National games will be organized for adults, for children there will be a special site, where entertainers will teach them to make crafts from eggs and will play the quest called “Sko-ko”.

On the territory of the “Sko-ko” park different kinds of birds ill be presented. Among the invited guests and participants there will be a petting zoo and farm enterprise “Ostrich paradise”.

According to the words of the organizing parties, there will be free buses from Kazan to Pestretsy for the guests of the festival. Thus, to go to the festival to Pestretsy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan one should come to the East train station in Kazan (8 Agrarnaya St.) at 1 p.m. on June 25, 2016. To come back to the city one can get the bus at 6 p.m.
