Average daily milk yield per cow exceeded 24 kg in “Rodina” collective farm in Alekseevskiy district of the Republic of Tatarstan

The average milk yield per cow is over 24 kg these days in “Rodina” collective farm. Every day 15.6 tons of milk are received here.

Cattle population on the farm is 2,410 animals, including 625 milk cows.

“Heavy milk production is received owing to a lot of factors. The diet of animals is rich in highly protein fodder such as cattle cake, ground oil cakes, extruded soy, high quality silage and hay. Over 25 years farmer have been working on the genetic potential. We also have very experienced animal breeders on the farm”, - said Ilgizal Shakirov, chief zoo-technician at “Rodina” farm.
