Fodder procurement keeps going on in Tatarstan

Fodder procurement keeps going on in Tatarstan districts. As of June 8, 2016, 28,000 tons of hay, 174,800 tons of haylage and 240 tons of woody forage have been made in the republic.

Perennial grasses have been cut on 116,700 ha, where hay and haylage have been cut on 95,200 ha.

The leading districts in fodder procurement are Aznakaevo (2,100 tons), Aktanysh (1,840 tons) and Novosheshminsk (1,650 tons) municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The leading districts in haylage making are Zainsk (15,200 tons), Atnya and Aktanysh (12,000 tons), Mamadysh (11,500 tons) and Zelenodolsk (11,400 tons) municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Treatment of plantings keeps going on in Tatarstan. Anti-weed treatment has been carried out on 1,238,600 ha, anti-blast treatment has been carried out on 722,800 ha.
