66 business projects of young farmers will be implemented in Tatarstan

Last week a tender committee meeting on selection of projects of peasant farm enterprises for the grant-in-aid on the federal institutional program named “Support of young farmers in the Republic of Tatarstan in 2015-2017” took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Out of 136 peasant farm enterprises allowed in the contest, 66 peasant farm enterprises from 30 municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan became grant holders. From Kukmor municipal district there were most of all winners – 8 peasant farm enterprises.

The total amount of grants was 97 million 179 thousand rubles, including 68 million 25 thousand rubles which were allocated from the federal budget (70%).

12 business projects in the sphere of vegetable growing, 11 business projects in growing of fruit and berry crops, 7 business projects in grains and pulses growing and 2 business projects in potato growing will be implemented. Projects in the sphere of animal breeding will be also carried out: there will be11 projects devoted to dairy cattle breeding (for 281 cows), 9 projects – to cattle feeding (for 503 animals), 9 project – to poultry breeding (for 30,000 various birds), 3 projects – to horse breeding (for 114 horses), 1 project – to goat breeding (for 100 goats) and project – to sheep breeding (for 174 sheep).

According to the program rules (creation of a work place for every 500 thousand rubles of the grant), farmers will create not less than 194 additional work places.

Beside this, the winners of the contest within the framework of the mentioned program on purchasing of agricultural equipment and machinery can apply for the contest of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Tatarstan on the program named “Leasing grant” for compensation of the actual costs on advance payment according to the leasing contract on easy terms.
