Kukmor municipal district is a leader in milk production in Tatarstan

The biggest milk yield in the republic now is in Kukmor municipal district. Here on May 26 193.5 tons of milk were produced in agricultural enterprises. The second place is taken by Baltasi municipal district (191.4 tons), the 3rd place is taken by Arsk municipal district (166.3 tons), the 4th place is taken by Atnya municipal district (162 tons) and the 5th place is taken by Aktanysh municipal district (160 tons).

The biggest daily average milk yield per cow is 22.8 kg in Atnya municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan. In Saby municipal district the figure is 20.2 kg, in Kukmor municipal district the figure is 18.9 kg.

In Tatarstan the gross milk yield was 3,522,900 tons on May 26, which is by 87.1 tons more than it was last year.
