Average milk yield per cow is 18 kg in “Agrofirm “Nur”

The average milk yield per cow is 18 kg in “Agrofirm “Nur”, Tetyushi municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The cattle population is 1,216 heads, including 354 milk cows. About 6,360-6,370 kg of milk are produced daily.

“Last year the overhaul of a cow house was carried out in the village of Malye Atryasi. The work is simplified – there is a milk delivery line, the feeding process is completely mechanized. All 11 milkmaids perform their duties properly”, - said Adip Ibyatov, the head of the farm.

Farmers take care of the balanced feeding of animals – they use premix, seed cake, brewer’s grains, all mash, corn. The diet of animals is rich in different minerals.

Young cattle is kept in repaired summer campus, milk cattle is on day feeding.

“This year the aim is to increase milk yield by 20%”, - said Radik Nurgaliev, director of the farm enterprise.
