Specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the campaign “All-Russia day of forest planting”

On May 14, 2016, specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan took part in the traditional republican environment-oriented campaign “Day of forest planting”.

Specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan planted over 400 conifer planting stock on a land plot of Matyushino forestry near the village of Voronovka.

The campaign is held every year by the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Tatarstan with the aim to develop environmental friendliness, favorable sanitary-ecological environment in forests situated in the republic. About 30,000 people took part in the campaign, 1.3 million plantings of different kinds were planted on 350 ha.

State civil servants and employees of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, deputies of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Public Prosecution of the Republic of Tatarstan, ministries, institutions, tutors and students of educational institutions supported the campaign.
