Spring sowing campaign has started in 10 Tatarstan districts

As of today, the spring sowing campaign has started in 10 Tatarstan districts: Nurlat, Zainsk, Aznakaevo, Bavly, Aksubaevo, Chistopol, Sahmanovo, Apastovo, Arsk and Novosheshminsk municipal districts.

In total 4,200 ha of fields have been sowed in the republic, where 3,900 ha have been sowed with spring crops.

The leading districts in sowing are: Nurlat (1,141 ha), Zainsk (1,100 ha), Aznakaevo (610 ha), Bavly (400 ha) municipal districts.

Top dressing of winter crops and perennial grasses keep going on in Tatarstan. As of April 15, 2016, 146,300 ha with winter crops have been dressed, which is 25.6% from the plan, and 99,800 ha with perennial grasses have been dressed, which is 20%.
