Tatarstan farmers started spring sowing campaign

Tatarstan farmers have started the spring sowing campaign. The first districts to start were Zainsk, Nurlat, and Aksubaevo districts.

In Zainsk municipal district the first farmers to work on the fields were from “Aleksandrovskoye” company, “Agrofirm “Vostok”, “Agroirm “Zainskiy sakhar” (the branch of “Rodina” company”). 190 ha of lands have been sowed with barley. Farmers from “Agrofirm “Zai” and “Niva” company has also started the spring sowing campaign.

In Nurlat municipal district the peasant farm enterprise “Suleimanov A.I.” has started sowing. As of today, 165 ha of lands has been sowed (10 ha have been sowed with barley, 155 ha have been sowed with oat). In total it is planned to sow 15,340 ha of fields with spring crops.

In Aksubaevo district farmers from “Aksu Agro” company has started sowing. 100 ha of lands have been sowed with barley.

In different districts of the republic, nutrition of winter crops and perennial grasses keep going on. As of today, winter crops have been top dressed on 77,600 ha of fields (14%), and perennial grasses – on 58,400 ha (12%).
