Specialists from Tatar science and research institute for agriculture offer sanitized potato seeds of domestic selection

From April 4, 2016, high quality potato seeds of domestic selection has started to be distributed in the FSBSI “Tatar science and research institute for agriculture”.

The seeds are sanitized from virus diseases and following the requirements of agricultural technology they give the yield of up to 300 dt/ha without watering, and over 600 dt/ha with watering.

Except varieties “Udacha”, “Zhukovskiy ranniy”, and “Nevskiy”, for the first time adapted to local conditions varieties “Cortney” and Reggy” are sold.

Variety “Reggy” is an early table potato. The weight of a root tuber is 150-200 g, the starch content is 16%. The advantages are high yield, heat resistance, resistance to proliferation, viruses and potato cancer.

Variety “Cortney” is a middle early table potato. Among advantages of the variety there is high yield, heat resistance, resistance to proliferation, resistance to Y, S and M viruses infection, efficient usage of soil moisture, resistance to potato cancer and nematode.
