Over 22 tons of milk are received daily in “Aksu Agro” company

Animal breeders from “Aksu Agro” company in Aksubaevo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan receive over 22 tons of milk every day. The gross milk yield in the district is 68 tons of milk as of today.

In total 3,800 heads of livestock cattle are kept in “Aksu Agro” company, where 1,600 animals are milk cows.

“Cattle population is stable. This is owing to the proper selective breeding work, skillful insemination and reproduction of the milk herd, rich supply of fodder”, - noted Valizyan Zalaltdinov, director general at the agro company. – “We select only high productive cows. Skilled specialists control over the health and feeding of the animals”.

Milk is partially used for feeding of calves. “The automated system enables to keep track of the amount of milk and fodder got by a calf. There is all the necessary data about animals in computers: sex, age, breed, the amount of milk and fodder to get”, - told Rushaniya Yarullina, a calf-woman.
