Crop variety testing 2016 was discussed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

Yesterday, on March 21, a session of crop variety testing committee 2016 took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The following officials took part in the session: Ildus Gabdrakhmanov – deputy minister of agriculture and food of the republic of Tatarstan, Sergey Turnin – branch director at the FSBI “State crop variety commission” in the republic of Tatarstan, Aitugan Khaziev – director at the Center of Selection and Seed Breeding of the FSBSI “Tatar science and research institute for agriculture”, Rafis Khabibullin – branch director deputy at the FSBI “Russian agricultural center” in the republic of Tatarstan, Yuriy Erov – director general at the Association “Elite seeds of Tatarstan”, specialists of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, scientists from the FSBSI “Tatar science and research institute for agriculture”, heads of state variety test plots, specialists of agricultural institutions.

Sergey Turnin – branch director at the FSBI “State crop variety commission” in the republic of Tatarstan, reported on the plan of crop variety testing in 2016. He named the varieties of grains, pulses, technical and fodder crops chosen for testing on the territory of Tatarstan.

This year except spring wheat and barley, corn and pea will be also added for testing. These crops will be tested on Arsk and Chistopol state variety test plots.
