"Biryuli" ltd won the championship and the golden cup in the specialized XVIII contest "Furs of caged animal farming 2016"

Last week the specialized XVIII contest "Furs of caged animal farming 2016" took place in "Russian sable". The event was organized by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the National association of fur breeders.

At the contest Russian fur farms presented unmanufactured furs of all kinds, pedigrees and types. The expert panel consisting of directors of fur farms, zoo veterinarian specialists, representatives of fur business, fur processors, representatives from the Pushkin district administration in the Moscow region, the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, appreciated the quality of the presented samples according to different categories.

"Biryuli" and "Bersutskiy" presented black sable furs, arctic fox furs, fox furs and silver-black fox furs, standard dark brown mink furs. All kinds of presented furs were awarded.

"Biryuli" ltd became a champion and won the golden cup for the black sable fur in the nomination "Sable". In other nominations "Biryuli" and "Bersutskiy" were awarded with the second and the third prizes.

In 2015 Tatarstan fur farms produced 119,500 mink furs of different colours, 12,000 fox rs, 1,500 arctic fox furs and 13,000 sable furs. Over 130,000 furs (107% compared with the level of 2014) were sold, the profitability was 16%.

In specialized fur farms of the Republic of Tatarstan such as "Biryuli" in Vysokaya Gora municipal district, "Matyushino" in Laishevo municipal district, "Bersutskiy" in Mamadysh municipal district, "Kostchakovskiy" in Pestretsy municipal district there are 32,700 female minks, 200 female arctic foxes, 2,260 foxes and 7,500 female sables.
