On February 17-19 the Volga region agricultural forum takes place in Kazan

From February 17 through February 19, 2016, The Volga region agricultural forum takes place at the exhibition center "Kazan fair", within the framework of which the 19th international specialized exhibition "Agrocomplex: Interagro. Animed. The Volga region farmer" and the 16th specialized exhibition "Volgaprodexpo" will be held. The forum is one of the most important and great events not only for Tatarstan AIC but also for the whole Volga region.

The organizing parties of the forum are "Kazan fair", the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Chief Directorate for Veterinary of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Association of peasant (farm) enterprises and agricultural cooperatives of Russia, the Association of Farmers and peasant farm households of the Republic of Tatarstan, Kazan city hall.

Traditionally the forum touches upon all the spheres of AIC. The participants' stands will present agricultural equipment, machinery and spare parts; chemicals to protect plants and fertilizers; veterinarian stuff, fodder and fodder additives; equipment for processing, packing and sorting of agricultural products; food products and other products manufactured in Russia, Germany, Italy, the USA, Switzerland, etc.

Such companies as "Taros", "Rostselmash", "Promintel-Agro", "Tatagroleasing", etc.will showcase their displays.

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan will present a display called "Agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Tatarstan", which includes such parts as "Economy", "Science, personnel", "Crop science", "Livestock breeding", "Mechanization". The latter will present an exhibition of enterprises dealing with import substitution of spare parts for agricultural machinery and equipment.

Key events of the forum are an extended session of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan called "AIC records 2015 and tasks for 2016 within the framework of the Strategy "Tatarstan 2030" with the participation of the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, which takes place on February 17, and the XVI session of the Association of farmers, peasant households and agricultural consumer cooperatives of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The Volga region agricultural forum program includes various round table discussions devoted to the most important issues of AIC development: "Implementation of the fedral special purpose program "Sustainable development of rural territories 2014-2017 and thorough 2020", "Efficiency increase in tractor fleet exploitation. Repairing and maintenance of agricultural machinery and equipment", "Innovative development of livestock breeding in the Republic of Tatarstan. The state of dairy and meat cattle breeding and prospects of development", "Risks in dairy cattle breeding under the conditions of infectious diseases distribution, including leukemia", "Biologization of arable farming. Protection of crops with high margin", "Increase in economic efficiency of agricultural producers' activities", etc.
