Leading Tatarstan districts in milk yield are Atnya and Saby

These days the average milk yield per cow a day is 13.2 kg, which is by 0.6 kg more than it was last year.

As of today the leading districts in milk production are Atnya and Saby municipal districts of the republic of Tatarstan, with the average mild yield per cow a day is 21.3 kg and 19.2 kg correspondingly.

According to the recent data of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, agricultural enterprises and farmers from 35 districts have increased the productivity of dairy cattle population in comparison with the previous year, in 2 districts the data stayed on the same level, in 6 districts there is a decline. The biggest decline in cow productiveness is on farms of Zelenodolsk and Alkeevo municipal districts of the Republic of Tatarstan, in comparison with the previous year the average milk yield per cow declined by 4.7 kg and 3.9 kg correspondingly.

The biggest daily milk yield per cow among the Russian Federation regions is in the Leningrad Region (23.3 kg, +0.8 kg). There are also good results in the Kirov Region (18.8 kg, +0.8 kg), the Republic of Udmurtia (15.7 kg, +1.1 kg), the Samara Region (14.1 kg, +0.7 kg). Livestock breeders in Bashkortostan get by 1.5 kg of milk per day more in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
