Tatarstan ameliorators were highly praised for their work in 2015

At the end of last week, a session devoted to the results of amelioration development and activities of branch federal state budget institutions in 2015 was held in the Amelioration Department of the Russian Federation.

It took place at the All-Russia Science and Research Institute of Amelioration Systems and Agricultural Water Supply “Raduga” in the town of Kolomna, the Moscow Region.

At the session, heads of subordinate to the department institutions examined the results of the federal address investment program implementation within the framework of the fixed capital formation, and also discussed the issues of amelioration under the conditions of import substitution, safe exploitation of hydro-reclamation systems.

In his speech, Daniil Putyatin – chief at the amelioration department of the Russian Federation – appreciated the work of Tatarstan ameliorators in implementation of special purpose programs on amelioration. He noted that during 2 years of implementation of the federal special purpose program on amelioration development, after construction and reconstruction over 10,000 ha of irrigated lands were put into exploitation, 162 waterworks were reconstructed.

Owing to the implementation of the special purpose program “Amelioration development of Russian agricultural lands for 2014-2020” concerning subsidizing of expenses of agricultural producers on construction, reconstruction and technical modernization of ameliorative systems in Tatarstan, the area of irrigated lands has increased, modern energy-efficient watering and pumping equipment has been installed.

Following the results of the monitoring in the sphere of data support of branch federal state budget institutions in 2015, Mars Khismatullin – director at the FSBI “Directorate “Tatmeliovodkhoz” – was awarded with the 3rd prize in the rating of media relations among 82 federal ameliorative institutions under the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Russian Federation and the Department for Amelioration of the Russian Federation.
