Rustam Minnikhanov examined modernization of “Chelny-Khleb” factory

Today within the business trip to Naberezhnye Chelny, the president of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the factory “Chelny-Khleb”, where he examined the work of a new manufacturing unit on baked goods production. Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhemtov met him there.

During the examination of the major line, Rustam Minnikhanov was told that the introduction of additional production capacities was just a matter of time: having a great demand for its products, the factory could not provide all its clients with products in full. At the end of 2015 a new manufacturing unit with the capacity of 18 tons per day was put into exploitation, and owing to this the opportunity to expand the market appeared.

The ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan reported that modern technologies were used during the implementation of this investment project. Russian producers were providers of new equipment.

Rustam Nimmikhanov appreciated the factory management speaking about the system upgrade of production capacities. After that he and the minister of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan tasted the bread produced at the new manufacturing unit.

“Chelny-Kheb” is one of the leading producers in the baking industry of the republic of Tatarstan, and is one of the biggest major budget revenue generating enterprises in Naberezhnye Chelny.

The total area of manufacturing units is 23,590 square meters.

Following the results of 2015, 26,965 tons of bakery and 5,897 tons of confectionary were produced at the factory.
