Prospects of cooperation between Tatarstan and the People’s Republic of China were discussed in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan

On Monday, January 11, 2015, a meeting between Deputy Prime-Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov and Chairman of the business investment-managing company “Ji Xin” of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Gao Zhigan (Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the PRC) took place in the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The following officials took part in the event: foreign trade assistant to the prime minister of the republic of Tatarstan Nazil Nasibullin, deputy ministers of agriculture and food of the republic of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov, Nazip Khazipov, Talgat Tagirzyanov, Rishat Khabipov, director general of “RATSIN” Askhat Sharapov, as well as the representatives of the business investment-managing company “Ji Xin” of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region – deputy director general Lui Vai and head of the administrative department Van Mai, etc.

Marat Akhmetov and Gao Zhigan exchanged the data concerning the state of AIC on the territories of the Republic of Tatarstan and the PRC, discussed the issues of the further mutual cooperation.

Today the rest delegates have arrived to Kazan – they are Kun Sinlun – deputy commander in chief at the Industrial and Cooperative Building Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Kun Jiung, - chief at the directorate for Agricultural Society of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, etc.

In the international airport “Kazan” the guests were met by the minister of agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmeov and foreign trade assistant to the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Nazil Nasibullin.

After that the delegation from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region visited “Tatagroleasing”, where they discussed the issues concerning provision with agricultural machinery and equipment and cooperation in this sphere.

Within the framework of the visit, the delegation from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region is going to the industrial park “Vyatka”, agro firms and farms on cattle breeding in Mamadysh municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, greenhouse complexes in Laishevo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, “Agro-Industrial Park “Kazan” and some other events.
