Tatarstan farmers are preparing seeds for harvest 2016

In Tukaevo municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan 10,920 tons of grain and pulse seeds were sowed for harvest 2016, which meets the demand of enterprises for seeds in full. There are 5,567 tons of spring wheat, 4,260 tons of barley, 300 tons of oats, 650 tons of pea and 140 tons of spring vetch.

According to the words of the district Directorate for agriculture and food, all seed material was dried and only top quality seeds were sowed.

In the district 60% of fields (27,000 ha) with grains are seed plots.

There are 5 seed farmings in Tukaevo municipal districts, they are “Kama”, “SBU named after S.Saidash”, “Irek”, “Chelny-Vegetables” and “Gigant”. They completely met the demand for top-quality seeds and prepared them for further distribution to other agricultural enterprises of the municipal district and the republic as well.

Currently in the enterprises of the district seed calibration is carried out.
