Tatarstan records in cattle breeding for 10 months of 2015

Today, at a session in the Government House of the Republic of Tatarstan, Marat Akhmetov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, reported on the agricultural enterprises and peasant farm enterprises’ records in Tatarstan cattle breeding for 10 months of 2015.

Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan, held the videoconferencing session with all the municipal districts of the republic. Ildar Khalikov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, took part in the session.

Marat Ahmetov reported that for 10 months of 2015 297,000 tons of cattle and poultry (104% in comparison with the last year level), 992,000 tons of milk (104%), 733 million eggs (111%) have been produced in the republic.

As of November 1, 2015, there are 745,000 heads of cattle (101%) including 245,000 cows, 443,000 pigs (102%), 50,000 goats and sheep (112%), and 13.1 million heads of poultry (105%) in the Republic of Tatarstan.

Marat Akhmetov draw special attention of the participants to the fact that there was a reduction of the number of milking herds in private farm households.

The Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan presented the data on the gross milk yield and productiveness in some municipal districts in October 2015. 3 districts managed to increase the milk yield – they are Atnya, Mamadysh and Agryz municipal districts.

After that, Marat Akhmetov introduced the participants to productiveness of Tatarstan cattle breeding. All the municipal districts were divided into 3 categories.

At year-end 2014, the following districts were included into the 1st category: Atnya, Saby, Baltasi, Tukaevo, Aktanysh, Kukmor, Kaibitsy, Buinsk, Mamadysh, Apastovo municipal districts.

In the 2nd category there are Novosheshminsk, Zelenodolsk, Arsk, Yelabuga, Nizhniy Kamsk, Alkeevo, Tyulyachi, Drozhzhanoe, Verkhniy Uslon, Agryz, Pestretsy, Chistopol, Aznakaevo, Yutazi and Vysokaya Gora municipal districts.

The 3rd category includes Alekseevsk, Bavly, Laishevo, Rybnaya Sloboda, Tetyushi, Nurlat, Aksubaevo, Leninogorsk, Sarmanovo, Zainsk, Almetyevsk, Kamskoe Ustye, Bugulma, Spasskoe, Menzelinsk, Muslyumovo, Cheremshan and Mendeleevsk municipal districts.
