A session devoted to the issues of occupational health and safety took place in “Poultry breeding complex “Ak Bars”, Pestretsy municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, on October 21, 2015.
Specialists of the Ministry of Agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan, Inter-Regional Association of Occupational Health and Safety, as well as employees of the enterprise took part in the session.
The aim of the session was to promote healthy conditions for Tatarstan AIC workers.
Aisylu Nigmatullina, head of the occupational health and safety department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, spoke about the state of occupational health and safety for Tatarstan AIC workers for 2014 and 9 months of 2015.
The labour peculiarities for employees at poultry breeding complexes are affected by a lot of external factors – physical, chemical, mechanical, etc. The main professional disadvantages are bad microclimate, polluted air, noise, etc. Beside all these, there is a risk to get infected while taking care after birds. That is why Aisylu Nigmatullina paid special attention to professional disease prevention, usage of personal protective equipment, sanitary clothes and health and safety.
Employees of “Poultry breeding complex “Ak Bars” were also demonstrated a film about the first aid for the injured at the workplace, called “10 golden rules on occupational health and safety”.
Fanil Gabdrakhmanov, Chairman of the Inter-Regional Association of Occupational Helaht and Safety, spoke about the necessity of training for occupational health and safety among all employees, he also told about new adjustments in the legislative base for occupational health and safety, importance of the special estimation of labour conditions and mechanisms it influences the pension.
