Beside hay for cattle wintering we have enough silage crops. There are 1,150 heads of cattle, including 270 milk cows, in our enterprise. Despite the draught year, we’ve got 2 full hay mowing owing to those conserving fodder and working from early in the morning until late at night”, - said Ramil Akhmetgaraev, director deputy at the agricultural enterprise named after M.Dzhalil.

1,300 tons of hay, 5,000 tons of haylage and 6,500 tons of silage have been conserved in the enterprise.

The cattle are kept in 7 cattle breeding venues. On 4 farms an overhaul was carried out last summer.
