Farmer from Agryz municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan is planning to expand sheep population on his farm to 300-350 heads

A farmer from Kichketan village, Agryz municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan, Talgat Mellanurov, breeds bedigree sheep.

His sheep breeding farm is situated on the territory of the former machine and tractor fleet, the venues of which are being repaired by the farmer now.

One of the venues has been repaired already.

Sheep weigh 60-80 kg, tups weigh 140 kg. There are 150 heads of animals: 80 sheep, 40 lambs, the rest are tup”, says Talgat Mellanurov.

On the territory of 30 ha the farmer grows perennial grass.

“I have all the necessary machinery and equipment. Hay is preserved for the next 2 years”, - says Talgat Mullanurov.

There is already a demand for sheep. But the farmer is planning to expand the population to 300-350 heads.
