Over 160 tons of vegetables were grown at school yards of Kaibitsy municipal district

At the end of last week there was a school fair in Bolshie Kaibitsy Village, Kaibitsy municipal district. There agricultural products grown at school yards were being sold.

According to the words of Ildar Shakirov, Chief of the Executive Office Education Department at Kaibitsy municipal district, over 160 tons of agricultural crops were grown at school yards. There are 108.05 kg of vegetables per person. That means that there are enough vegetables for the whole academic year.

At the fair schools of the district presented a wide range of agricultural products: potato, cabbage, carrot, beetroot, corn, onion, cucumber, etc.

Albert Rakhmatullin, Head of Kaibitsy municipal district, watched presentations of each school, asked some questions and appreciated the efforts of pupils.

The aim of the event is to promote school entrepreneurship, provide the population with top quality organic products at competitive prices.

The first place took Ulyanovsk school, the second – Kushmansk school. They were awarded with diplomas and testimonials.
