In “Kamsko-Ustyinskoe” strategic business unit farmers are getting ready for cattle wintering

In the livestock breeding complex of Krasnovidovskiy subdivision of “Kamsko-Ustyinskoe” strategic business unit herd-brook meat cattle is kept.

This subdivision has a status of a bred livestock farm for breeding of Gereford cattle pedigree. The status was assigned by the decision of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation in January 2014.

Now preparation to the winter is going on in the livestock breeding complex. Buildings are cleaned, hay is brought.

The day weight gain is 1,200-1,500 g. Over 90 breeding bulls have been already sold.

“650 heads of breeding livestock are kept on the farm. Bulls are being sold. The is enough forage: 2,120 tons of senage, 300 tons of hay, one of these days we are starting preserving silage”, reported Alexey Tsyganov, subdivision director.
