Potato and sugar beet harvesting is going on in Tatarstan

By September 14 2015, 59,000 tons of potato have been harvested from 2,700 ha in the republic. The average crop yield is 221 dt/ha.

The biggest area of potato fields have been cleared in Arsk municipal district – 605 ha. The second place takes Nurlat municipal district – 210 ha. The leading average crop yield is in Elabuga municipal district – 349 dt/ha. In Nizhniy Kamsk municipal district the average crop yield is 301 dt/ha, in Arsk municipal district – 255 dt/ha.

505,800 tons of sugar beet have been harvested from 14,900 ha in Tatarstan, the average crop yield is 340 dt/ha.

In Sarmanovo municipal district sugar beet has been harvested from 2,900 ha, in Zainsk municipal district – from 2,200 ha. The best average crop yield is in Tetyushi municipal district – 400 dt/ha. In Tukayevo municipal district the average crop yield is also good – 390 dt/ha.
