The Day of Parks and Public Gardens was celebrated in the Farmers’ Park

Today The Day of  Parks and Public Gardens was celebrated in the Farmers’ Park on the bank of the Kazanka River.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov, deputy ministers and experts of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan, and different guests visited the festival.

There was a special concert for the guests of the festival. Different Kazan bands and dance groups gave their performance. Guests could take a horse ride around the park, children could swing and slide.

A momentous part of the event was an exhibition of dogs. Dogs of different pedigrees demonstrated a special basic course with different commands.

Dogs of the following pedigrees were presented on the exhibition: bull-terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Russian black terrier, German shepherd, east European shepherd, Belgium shepherd, etc.

Beside this, «Autumn Sabantuy» was held at the festival. Guests participated in different contests, such as tug-of-war, etc.
