The Day of Parks and Public Gardens is celebrated in Universiade Park

On Saturday, September 5 2015, a holiday devoted to the Day of Parks and Public Gardens takes place in the Universiade Park on the bank of the Kazanka River, opposite the Ministry of Agriculture and food of the Republic of Tatarstan. Guests will have an opportunity to experience the holiday, take a horse ride around the park, make their kids’ day by taking a ride on a “kind pony” for them and see an exhibition of dogs.

The zest of the holiday is “Autumn Sabantuy”. Guests will take part in such competitions as:

- A race with an egg in a spoon in the mouth;

- Powerlifting;

- Tug-of-war;

- Braking of pots with closed eyes;

- Family relay race;

- Battering down of nails;

- A race in flippers.
