Marat Akhmetov took part in The Knowledge Day in Kazan State Academy for Veterinary Medicine

Today Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan – Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Marat Akhmetov took part in The Knowledge Day in Kazan State Academy for Veterinary Medicine named after N.Bauman.

Marat Akhmetov congratulated students and teachers to the beginning of a new academic year and told about achievements of Tatarstan AIC.

“In agriculture there is a need for experts with innovative thinking, production engineers of a new generation. Our republic has a high potential in the development of agriculture. Our republic is not only an oil, industrial, machine building republic, but also an agricultural one”, noted the minister.

“Among constituent entities of the Russian Federation our republic takes the 1st place concerning the gross agricultural production. Our main competitors are Krasnodar, Stavropol Territories, Rostov Region, and Belgorod Region. The Republic of Tatarstan is the 1st among the regions producing milk and the 2nd among the regions producing meat. We’d like to see how future professionals will unlock the potential of our republic”, said Marat Akhmetov.

“It is important that students study with pleasure in the academy and graduates have a wish to work in the sphere of agriculture”, emphasized the minister.

Galimzyan Kabirov, Rector of the academy, also gave a speech at The Knowledge Day. “Students from Khanty-Mansyisk, Khabarovsk, Magadan, Ekaterinburg, Chuvashia, Maryi El, Bashkiria, Udmurtia come to study in our academy”, he informed.

Galimzyam Kabirov wished the students to use the knowledge for the benefit of agriculture and AIC.

The 1st Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Tatarstan Nikolai Titov participated in the Knowledge Day in Kazan state Agrarian University.

Nikolai Titov congratulated the first-year students to The Knowledge Day and noted a good work of the administration of the university.
