2.7 million tons of grain have been milled in Tatarstan

As of August 28 2015, 2,697,500 tons of grains have been milled on 1,265,700 ha in the republic. The average crop yield is 21.3 dt/ha. By the current day there are 306,300 ha of grains and pulses fields (19% of fileds) left to be cleared in Tatarstan.

Some municipal districts of the republic are finishing harvesting. Thus in Apastovo municipal district there are only 1,300 ha of fields left to be cleared, in Alkeevo municipal district – 1,600 ha.

490,100 ha with winter crops, 261,200 ha with spring wheat, 382,600 ha with barley, 59,900 ha with pea have been thrashed in the republic. 1,071,000 tons of winter crops, 541,700 tons of spring wheat, 845,000 tons of barley, 93,600 tons of pea have been milled.

Simultaneously with harvesting Tatarstan farmers are sowing winter crops and preserving forage. As of August 28 2015, 376,100 ha have been sowed with crops, 1,155,800 tons of forage have been presered.
