47 business projects for young farmers are to be implemented in Tatarstan

Within the framework of the 1st part of contest 2015 under the program “Support of young farmers” 47 farm households were awarded 1st prizes, they will get grants to implement their projects amounted to 44.7 million rubles in total. According to the terms of the program (creation of a workplace for every 500,000 rubles granted)not less than 89 additional workplaces will be created.

The majority of the projects being implemented (19) are devoted to dairy cattle production, which is the most important branch for the republic. This will enable to increase dairy cattle population by 486 cows. Business projects on grains and pulses production, and cattle store feeding will get 6 grants each, 8 grants will be given to those working in the sphere of vegeculture, as well as dealing with fruit and small-fruit crops (strawberries, raspberries).
