The Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation will support distribution and dispatch of milk in the Republic of Tatarstan with the subsidies amounted to over 313.1 million rubles

The Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev signed the decree prepared by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation on the development of dairy cattle breeding in the country. In 2015 subsidies from the federal budget amounted to 313.3 million rubles in total are allocated to distribution and dispatch for milk processing in the republic of Tatarstan.

“The situation in dairy cattle breeding is not simple. We have the task to conquer the domestic market. This type of governmental support is one of the tools to stimulate that”, emphasized Alexander Tkachev, the Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation.

The subsidies for 1 kg of distributed and (or) dispatched for cow milk processing and goat milk processing are calculated according to the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation and are allocated to the regional budget of the Republic of Tatarstan within the framework of the State program on the development of agriculture and regulation of the market of agricultural products, raw materials and foodstuff for 2013-2020. The total amount of subsidies from the federal budget allocated to the regions for these purposes is 6.208 billion rubles.
